Today I Am Grateful

Today I am grateful for the birds chirping outside my window.
Today I am grateful for a sleep in!
Today I am grateful for all of the wonderful creative opportunities that have come my way.
Today I am grateful that my Dad is being treated in hospital and that he will soon find relief from pain.
Today I am grateful for the beautiful large gum tree behind my house that houses a family of kookaburras.
Today I am grateful that I have my own herb garden.
Today I am grateful for the fresh chives on my breakfast.
Today I am grateful to be starting up kids art classes again this afternoon.
Today I am grateful for the Internet and the masses of information at my fingertips.
Today I am grateful that everything is perfect right now, just as it should be.

Leaping lizards!

The strangest thing happened the other day that I just have to share with you.

I was lazing around home watching a great documentary on Australian lizards (it may sound boring but I loved it!). I kept hearing a vague rustling noise nearby, which I considered to by my lovely kitty cat fossicking behind the lounge.

Suddenly out of the corner of my eye, I saw movement. I turned around to see a large blue-tongue lizard amble slowly through my lounge room, past me, and out the front door!

Crazy huh! I've heard that what you focus on manifests into your life, but c'mon ~ this is just plain weird!

Hubby and I have decided to have children in the near future, so my friend Justine thinks I should starting watching documentaries on having babies!!!

Monday Moments

Look at the beautiful clear blue sky I woke up to this morning! It was so lovely that I set up a chair outside and ate my breakfast in the sunlight. My kitty thought this was a great idea too and hopped on my lap to relax and soak up the rays along with me.

Ahhh ... what a wonderful way to start the week.

Wherever I look, I find that I am supported. It takes practice though, to see what is working FOR me, rather than looking for what is missing.

So today when I stumbled across a little piece of life's abundance in the form of a GIVEAWAY, I chose to see it as another way that we're all working together to provide for each other ~ often without even realising it!
